How to live legally in Brazil?

Are you a foreigner and want to live in Brazil?

There are a few ways to do this LEGALLY, and I’m going to show you some of them:

If your country is at war, you can apply for asylum/refuge here in Brazil;

If you have a Brazilian child;

If you marry a Brazilian;

If you come from a MERCOSUR country.

Remember that in all these options, you need to apply for a visa and regularize your stay in the country.

Once regularized, you will be able to live and WORK legally in the country, and you will be able to obtain your CPF, work permit and other essential documents for a Brazilian citizen.

After a few years of permanent residence, you can apply for Brazilian naturalization and become a citizen.
